    Open Call for Zvono Award 2024

    KRAK Center for Contemporary Culture is pleased to announce the competition for Zvono Award (Young Visual Artist Award) for 2024. Artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, no older than 33, who are involved in visual arts in the broadest sense of the term – painting and graphics, sculpture, photography, video, spatial installations and new media arts – are invited to apply. This is the most important professional stimulation in Bosnia and Herzegovina intended for young artists which includes a two-month art residency for the winner at Residency Unlimited in New York. Works of arts by the finalists will be displayed at a joint exhibition at KRAK Center (Bihać) in the Fall of 2024. Subsequently, during winter 2024/2025, the exhibition will be set up at galleries Vagon (Banja Luka).

    The jury that will evaluate the received applications will meet in May 2024 at the premises of KRAK Center. Members of the jury are Adla Isanović (educator in new media, Sarajevo), Zlatan Vehabović (artist, Zagreb) and Nick Tobier (artist, SAD). The finalists and the winner will be announced in May 2024. This year's exhibition will be curated by Isidora Branković (Banja Luka).
