Open Call for Zvono Award 2022
The Center for Contemporary Culture KRAK, in cooperation with Residency Unlimited and the Trust Mutual Understanding, is announcing a contest for the Young Visual Artist Award for 2022. Artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina up to 35 years of age who practice visual arts in the broadest sense of the term are eligible to apply, i.e. artists actively involved in painting and printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, objects in space and installations, as well as new media. This is the most important professional stimulation in Bosnia and Herzegovina for young artists, which includes a two-month artistic residential stay of the winner at the Residency Unlimited in New York, and a joint exhibition of finalists at KRAK in autumn 2022.
The jury responsible for evaluating the received applications will meet in May 2022 at the KRAK Center, and will consist of Ina Weise (artist, Dresden), Molly Haslund (artist, Copenhagen) and Šejla Kamerić (artist, Sarajevo). The finalists and the winner will be announced in May 2022.
The application can be submitted only through the online form in English. Deadline for applications is April 30, 2022 (23:59). More information about the Zvono Awards is available here.
