After a long period of planning, conceptualization and administration, the website of the Center for Contemporary Culture KRAK is finally here. We are very excited, because in these unfavorable circumstances we are able to participate in the creation of something so complex and important, such as KRAK.

KRAK considers itself a generator of a new sociability in which culture, science and social engagement have the potential for urban regeneration. KRAK is the result of many years of efforts in which many individuals have signed up through various projects, actions and events. The newly created website is a virtual extension and an important medium for the realization of this mission – an opportunity for open communication and mutual exchange.

Post-war sentiment resulted in slow emancipation, general backwardness and poverty, which are further burdened by the current epidemiological circumstances caused by the new coronavirus. Despite everything, the KRAK team understands the urgency of the moment and is ready to take the risk of defining new values. KRAK is a new beginning rooted in the hearth of our negligence towards ourselves.
